We have been learning all about our families and friends and talking about the different jobs our family members do. Nurses Jen and Alison came in to talk to us about working in the hospital. They explained lots of the different things they do to look after their patients. Lots of the children in Poppy Class would like to be nurses in the future so it was interesting to hear about the skills that nurses use every day - counting, calculating, reading and writing! Of course the best bit was being bandaged up! Thank you so much to Jen and Ali for coming in and giving us such an interesting and fun hour.
